Puff has always divided opinions on the golden era of Bad Boy Records. But he provided an outlet for three of my favourite MCs The Notorious B.I.G. Ma$e and Jadakiss.
Jadakiss has been part of many powerhouses of Hip Hop like Bad Boy Records with The LOX. Linking up with Ruff Ryders, creating D-Block and even being signed to Roc-A-Fella,. Jada has always maintained relevance and being consistent from a street perspective to a R&B.
Jada will always be one of the most lyrical microphone beasts around, some lesser MCs may have had more commercial success than Jada but that doesn't matter because he can slay them all with a hot 16 even on a bad day. I mean at the end of the day do you remember a song like Crank Dat Soulja Boy (which is a hit) or Why?
He'll always be in my top 10 MCs alive list, regardless of the delay on another album. Thankfully Top 5 Dead Or Alive is coming out later in 2013. Cause nobody tires of hearing the most famous ad-lib in Hip Hop Ahaaaaaaaaaa!
