#ThrowbackThursdays: Dizzee Rascal edition

"I thought I was the boy in da corner, but I'm in a penthouse, now your boy is a baller. I'm living"

What can you say about Dizzee? One of the pioneers in the UK scene? check. One of Grime's biggest products? check. One of the UK scene's biggest exports? check.

Has Dizzee made tracks to capture the wider masses and allow him to live a nice lifestyle? check.

Dizzee Rascal - Holiday

But so does your favourite rapper, although I always wish we get the IDGAF Dizzee just to balance the books. But at the end of the day it's clear as daylight, the streets pay you with respect but don't always put their hands in their pocket and support. However the wider audience who like and love your record do.

Dizzee Rascal - Fix Up Look Sharp

But Dizzy Diz will always be the boy from Bow E3 who helped kick the door down, to allow the underground to be taking seriously. Would be nice if Diz and Wil aired their issues out on a table just the two of them and start afresh a make those records the whole scene is and has been waiting for.........

Until then Raskit boy,  I salute you.

Dizzee Rascal - Tim Westwood Freestyle

Dizzee Rascal - I Luv U
