#ThrowbackThursday: Bashy edition

Who doesn't like Chupa Chups?? If you don't your mother never love you sorry. See today's throwback Thursday artist is Bashy. And if you know your history you'll know that he blessed the game with legendary mixtapes like Chupa Chups and Suk Your Mum.

Now Bashy is a prime example of growth in the industry, from doing sets on pirate radio, occasional music beef with fellow artists, to putting his head down and creating a debut album Catch Me If You Can to effortlessly moonwalking into movies.

Bashy's biggest hit is arguably one of the most important and truthful records to come out of the UK. Black Boys came out and this record was just a monster. Nothing pop or bubble gum about it, just real heartfelt lyrics. Some people (you know the ones who live under a rock and only know about Jeremy Kyle as quality TV) tried to switch the title of the record and claim it's racist. Yeah anyway Bashy has been in many movies over the past few years without letting the music suffer. He is still one of the wittiest, funniest and honest lyricists in the scene.

Check out Bashy's latest single, fair to say it's another Bish, Bosh, Bash hit.

Salute Bashy.
