#ThrowbackThursday: Daft Punk edition

Thought I'd switch it up today and showcase this sick duo.
Daft Punk the dynamic duo from the city of love France. Have been shaping the electro scene while rocking their now iconic robot disguises for 20 years and going strong.

Even Ye had to mess with the flow:

Like Robin Thicke, Daft Punk too have gained like a zillion new fans this year/summer thanks to their latest release Random Access Memories album. Which provided the only other record to battle Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" for summer anthem with " Get Lucky".

Again these guys have been round since '93 so only right in '13 they get another army load of fans.

I've been rocking with them since the Discovery album, because that album has to my ears the best track that they have ever done: Digital Love

That album had many others bangers too, but from there to now Daft Punk haven always up their sound and what they provide to the music world.

My boy David hates the fact some people are claiming to be huge Daft Punk fans after hearing Get Lucky. Which I understand, as I wouldn't really rate someone who would want to school me about Jay Z fan just because they enjoyed MCHG.

Hardcore fans will argue this album is not the Daft Punk sound as alot more instrumental sounds and vocals have been used, like Jay once said "want my old shit, buy my old albums".

So big up the duo from France, who refuse to rest on the laurels and making good music. Even though we waited 5years to get the latest album, it's all good though cause you drop fire!!

Daft Punk - Aerodynamic

Daft Punk - One More Time

Daft Punk - Harder Better Faster
