Technology: Why So Serious?

One of the most popular apps around across all smartphones, one of my favourite apps ever and arguably the Undertaker to Blackberry's BBM app. So with everything that's on smartphones updates and newer versions come and go. But holy shit man, the latest update of WhatsApp has got many people going crazy and acting mad nervous. I'm talking nervous to the point like they've becoming super famous and they're old school jealous ex taped them making love and threatening to unleash it to the world, but why though? Previously on Game Of Thrones.... Nah I'm joking. But the previous version of Whatsapp did the following,I'd click on favourites icon and select and click on their name. Then write away then hit send, or if you're a member of the private group called "Cool Kids Club" you'd use the voice note option.

Once this is done the one tick appeared (to represent sent),then you'd get the double tick (to show the message has been delivered). Those ticks were grey,so you never really knew when the message was read by the recipient or just delivered.You may have noticed that now the ticks are blue. This means the message has been read by the person.If you go on Instagram in particular it's like many people are shook to use Whatsapp now,some people are so paranoid that this   photo below is one of the most popular and widely spread image on Instagram: 

People need to just calm down it's not that big of a deal. Here's a little secret to those people freaking out, don't share as this is highly confidential information. I worry I'm being watched as I type it, but I have to risk this for the people. IF YOU DON'T WANT THE BLUE TICKS TO APPEAR BEFORE YOU'RE READY TO REPLY, ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS NOT OPEN THE WHATSAPP MESSAGE UNTIL YOU HAVE THE TIME OR WISH TO REPLY BACK TO THE MESSAGE. CIAO!
