I've always associated socks and slides with LA from seeing it in movies like Boyz-N-Hood or maybe it was Friday. It's stayed around but summer 2016 has seen it just boom over here in London like the Ed Hardy wave (fellas I beg you wear proper socks out in public, make sure you got the right settings on your washing machine). So the 2013 era is here. World still spinning, sun still shining, Ri Ri still getting caught naked and we still waiting for Dizzee and Wiley to collaborate. So here is my wish list of what I want to see in 2013 (Politicians can sort out the world themselves)
ROC-A-FELLA - THE OFFICIAL REUNION:
The Roc army was my vibe. Jay-Z, Kanye West, Memphis Bleek, Freeway, Peedi Crakk, Young Gunz. And of course the broad street bully aka Beans was a damn wild animal on the mic, don't believe me check out this early freestyle on the classic N.O.R.E "Banned From TV"
So I want a FULL reunion to bring that 2000 era back. Rap needs their skills, Hip Hop needs that vibe back. Add The Diplomats, Dame and Biggs to that and let's get this ish crackin.
BOY BETTER KNOW - BOY BETTER KNOW ALBUM:
So when grime representers JME, Skepta, Shorty, Wiley, Frisco, Jammer, Solo 45 and DJ Maximum combine. They become the grime collective Boy Better Know. 2009 they gave us the classic Too Many Man and also Going In and were promised a Boy Better Know album. It's now 2013 and given all these guys have their own solo fan base it's time we get the Boy Better Know album. Let's go guys
UK RAP : NEED MORE ALBUMS
UK rap is in the healthiest place it's ever been right now. But we still need albums to be dropping from the likes of S.A.S., Giggs etc.. to continue getting the scene more love. So hopefully 2013 brings albums from all these guys.

Fif has been releasing mix tapes frequently and dropping random singles too. Time has come for Fif to drop a hot album. Life has changed for Fif since Get Rich Or Die Tryin' but that don't mean he hasn't got another hot album in the tank. New Day was actual a hot single, My Life w/ Eminem and Adam Levine and Major Distribution w/ Snoop Dogg and Jeezy are cool. So hopefully Immortal King is one of the albums we remember 2013 for.

I'm a huge fan of Robin Thicke, and I once got to meet him courtesy of my homie Westwood. Now Robin Thicke is a smooth mutherfucker! He ain't got swag cause he's a debonair. So during the Robin interview he dropped one of the realist lines I've heard. "I like a woman who treats her body like a gift, when she dresses she shows just enough to a man. But keeps the element if surprise alive but not showing everything in what she wears." At the time I thought that's so slick shit, but no I understand. On to my girl Ri-Ri, she sexy bossy chick. But come on cupcake, pictures of you naked come out like every week. Seeing you naked is like seeing traffic lights, see them all he time. So keep dropping hot records and staying classy.

Changes need to happen on Twitter. Beefing on Twitter is like arguing with someone via sign language makes no sense. When artists especially beef over Twitter, you know their either bored or using the argument to help promote something they got. Plus posting a tweet then deleting it when the heat is on just makes you look like you don't believe in what you feel + makes you look like a p****.

I'm a huge fan of Nike. I mean they have over the course of Sneakerdom made some of the best. I have a huge collection of Js, been through a million Air Force 1s and Tiempo Football Boots. I went to Footlocker few months back and saw this new line of sneakers called Nike Blazers. I wanted them, asked if they had my size and they said no (size 13 ain't popular) Went home kinda pissy, cause you already create an image in your head when you see a pair of sneakers you like what clothes they will co-ordinate with in the wardrobe. Fast Foward to 10/4 and I see everyone but my mummy and me rocking this sneakers. I know there are a million colours like Air Force 1s have. But Air Force 1s have stood the test of "time" like Timberland, Adidas shell toes, Js (Jordans), Vans etc..... These sneakers are everywhere like speed cameras. Are they the new Ed Hardy??? Cause we know what happened to Ed Hardy........Let's wait an see.
