R.I.P. Tupac Shakur - 6/16/71 - 9/13/96

Sixteen years on, Tupac is still one of the greatest artists to share his talent with the world. He gave us all angles of hip hop and more, he was and still is hip hop's first rock star. I have friends who can remember every Pac verse, track & album title
better and faster than they can remember what they had for dinner 3 days ago.

We can only wonder and argue what would Tupac have achieved in today's game.
If rumours are true, would Suge have granted Pac his wish to leave Death Row? Set up his own label and then retire? Would half these MCs even think about rapping? Would Pac try to get into politics and then quit seeing stuff behind the scenes he don't like? Or would he just have continued to be used as a scape goat because he wanted to open our eyes and get wiser?

Either way lets continue to never forget this man, what he done and tried to achieve while he was here. Alot can be said about the state of today's Hip Hop, if some people had their own way we wouldn't have Hip Hop. So we should be thankful even though it's a catch 22. If we didn't have Hip Hop maybe Tupac would have used another route to get his words and ideas out but would we have paid attention? but more importantly his mother would still have her child. Thanks to Hip Hop this talented person had an outlet for his voice. I hope heaven does have a ghetto. R.I.P Tupac
