Entertainment: Wrestlemania XXX Recap

This morning was the grandest stage of them all, the holy grail for any wrestler. Twitter was popping off, with this and Game Of Thrones season 4 on at the same damn time.
The bosses had to go all out for this 30th anniversary of Wrestlemania. And they didn't disappoint (well Punk didn't appear but hey can't be too greedy now).

So this year it took place in the vibrant and soulful New Orleans at the SuperDome (not the SilverDome Hulk, don't know what type of women you get down with), its a beautiful venue:
75,167 in attendance to see something and anything happen at the 30th anniversary of Wrestlemania. As much as myself and others class me a wrestling fan, I've never made it to a Wrestlemania so I'm slacking on that front (Big up my girl Hannah who made it to the event).

So here we go 12am this morning and the biggest show in sports entertainment hosted by the one and only Hulk Hogan. So Hogan welcomes everyone to the SilverDome which was funny cause he fluffed his lines as the venue's called SuperDome.  He did correct himself and everyone in the arena laughed which was good old fun. But then this happened, NO explanation needed:
On the night saw Cena v Bray Wyatt, Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, Triple H v Daniel Bryan and the Divas version of a Battle Royal (which was scheduled after the talking match of the night, someone is getting sacked in the morning). Here are my top three of the events from last night:

1. The Undertaker v Brock Lesnar
The official hashtag was #TheStreakvBeast. Undertaker has defeated 21 opponents at the equal amount of Wrestlemania. The likes of Jake The Snake, Sycho Sid, Ric Flair, Triple H, Orton, Shawn Michaels and CM Punk to name a few have all "Rest In Peace". Watching Mania 29 against Punk who pushed Taker to the limit and I remember saying to my boy Ronak, 'that was painful to watch Undertaker looked sluggish and tired". Taker is at a stage where he must enjoy playing dominoes, fishing and tidying out the coffins.

Anyway a year on an the streak was up against the most dangerous man in sports entertainment. Listen Brock was in MMA and he has power x speed x technique x agility and really doesn't give a flying fvck. When you get joy out of breaking people's arms, well I mean here is my lunch money. I don't want NO problems.
The video above shows this match should have happened a while ago, but made sense to kick it off in time for Mania 30. Taker at Mania 22 against Brock Lesnar would have been some event. I feel Taker didn't adjust his arsenal of moves for the type of wrestler Lesnar is. After multiple Hells Gate mixed with Tombstone and Last Ride. Brock laced Undertaker with three F5s during the battle and the last one lead to...... (I had to take this picture, because dude summed up the whole feeling in the arena, plus it was super funny).
It's real when Austin tweets it.

2. The Shield vs Kane x New Age Outlaws
The Hounds Of Justice have been causing havoc since their debut. Despite a few obvious bits of jealous and in-fighting (always seems to be Ambrose), when it comes to kicking ass they're whats "best for business". Let's be honest the New Age Outlaws were the ish as part of the Attitude Era, and now just trying to get a slice of WWE's popularity. This was the second card of the show and lasted about 5mins hahahahaha.

Now it's not because it was rubbish or anything like that far from it, but let's just say you don't send Sardines to a tank of Sharks. It was an all out rampage from the word go, 1 spear and a double spear was already dished by Roman. Seth was doing his flying human pinball tricks and then something that brought a tear to my eye. A double triple power bomb on the New Age Outlaws, it was such a crazy rampage that Billy Gunn experienced Hemoptysis (internal bleeding).

3. Randy Orton v Drax The Destroyer x Daniel Bryan
This was a strong way to close Wrestlemania and the outcome was not a huge surprise to everyone, it was a well deserved one. In this new era of wrestling after the attitude era, my favourite wrestler is Randy Orton. The 2013 Money In The Bank PPV was the best Randy has been in a very very very long time.

Last night I saw the Randy, no I saw the Viper back once again. By defeating Triple H  earlier , Daniel Bryan was  involved in this main event. Honestly would have preferred Orton v Byran, as both technically gifted wrestlers. At the moment Bootista is the kind of guy who can't even put the fear into Grannies, let alone anyone in the locker room. His persona is all wrong and that's not helping with his super obvious lack of wrestling moves.

All in all I'd give WM30 an 8 outta of 10. The talking point of WM30 was what's best for business. In reality Undertaker has fought damn near everybody, and there isn't anyone of the caliber to try and end the streak besides Lesnar. The Raw after Wrestlemania is always a hype and shall be no different off the back of last night's events. Still Austin and The Rock back in the ring again, was the highlight of this worldwide event. WHAT?!

Oh big up Kofi Kingston he is the king of entertainment, give that boy a crown! Also why was  Triple H dressed like this?
