Hurricane's come and go but the courage and resilience of a nation is way more powerful, when it's time to dust the boots and keep on marching. Dominica the nature island will rise again stronger and better, like it did after Hurricane David. It's well documented that my island Dominica felt the wrath and felt the destruction caused by Tropical Storm Erika. This has come with many unfortunate fatalities, with many homes lost and the infrastructural damage is massive.
Many of the islands within the caribbean have come together in this time of need, to help their neighbour island get back on what is a long road to normality. I know there are many of us Dominicans that live in the United Kingdom, but this is bigger than just our community.
So with that I ask that you please contribute towards the rebuilding of our sweet nation. The following has been set up to assist with the rebuilding efforts of Dominica, also every penny collected will be given to the Dominica High Commission based right here in London, which will go towards the relief/rebuild efforts. Please donate whatever big or small to Dominica Rebuild.
