#TBT: Square One x Alison Hinds - Faluma

The year was 1998 when I fell in love with Square One's Alison Hinds, I mean sweet Jesus what a masterpiece of a woman! Anyway this week's Throwback Thursday is coming courtesy of Square One x Alison Hinds who gave us this Soca classic in 1998, which just ran riot all over the airwaves and is still such a guarantee dancefloor pleaser.

Video: Ricardo Drue - Bet

I entered Miami Carnival 2k15 a total audio virgin to Ricardo Drue. But after the dust settled I became a fan as he easily had two of the most requested and crowd pleasing songs in Vagabond and Professional. So fast forward to get ready for Carnival season for 2016 and Agent 009 is back with a new one called BET.

Audio: Farmer Nappy - BamBilamBamBilamBilamBam

You need a healthy diet of Soca in your life to take you away from all the bullshit that's going on in the world. Farmer Nappy brings us the BamBilamBamBilamBilamBam, you know the BamBilamBamBilamBilamBam? No me either but this is getting me through the cold nights of winter!

Audio: Machel Montano - Temperature

Machel easily had the most played song at Miami carnival this year with Like Ah Boss. Brand new 2016 vibes from the Soca don Machel Montano called Temperature.

Audio: Farmer Nappy - Meet Trouble

Farmer Nappy gives us Meet Trouble to cause some damage for 2016. My House is still causing serious problems on the scene.

Justin Bieber x Kerwin Dubois - What Do You Mean No Apology?! (Jester Remix)

So I've just touched down from my annual trip to the good ol' US of A, and my second experience of Miami's carnival weekend (thank you good lord). Now for those who don't know I'm not one that drinks alcohol but I do have in common the hangover affect with those that heavily drink, when it comes to Carnival weekends. Enough about me as nobody is going to feel sorry for me I know that haha.

Big up my cuzzy @IamDJKartel for giving me the heads up during his Riddim City FM show (he's good at multi-tasking while on air via whatsapp), that the last song he's going to drop would be a shutdown. So said so done, ladies and gentlemen this remix has no behaviour. Big up the genius behind this @ThisIsJester for combining the prince of pop (yeah I'm a Bieber fan) with one of Soca's pinnacle artist Kerwin Dubois.
