#ThrowbackThursday: Total x The Notorious B.I.G. - Can't You See

Artist: Total

Album: Total

Released: 1996

Interview: Mase on "Feels So Good"

Mase will always remain one of my top ten MCs ever. The guy is an all round class act with the image of what a rapper should have. Lyrics combined with clarity, swag, charisma and just all round presence. Harlem World will always be a classic album and the song "Feel So Good" will always remain as the stand out test of time single. No club which has a policy that plays hip hop, doesn't play that record. Above Mase, breaks down how that timeless classic record was created. Look out for a new album in 2015, until then go back and listen to Harlem World, it will make your Friday.

#ThrowbackThursday: Bad Boy Rap Edition

Now I've already done a #TBT for The Notorious B.I.G. x Ma$e, but it's only right I who respect to the house that shared them to the world.

Bad Boy Entertainment/Records will always hold a few chapters in the history book of Rap music and the Hip hop culture. Classics is a word thrown around at any given chance, some justifiable and some just plain all on board the bandwagon train.

The house the Puff built has given us classic that has stood the test of time, and even now when they drop in a club people just forget their worries and do what Puff always demanded and "just dance".

I mean think about it, the Puff Daddy x Hype Williams collaborations with the videos were two things 1. big budget 2. larger than life.

So i'm gonna dedicate this thursday to just some of the classics Bad Boy has given us in the world of hip hop. As easy as it is to just make it all Biggie (trying my hardest not to), I'm gonna showcase the Bad Boy hits.

P.S. These videos will take you to a place that makes you smile with happy memories!
