#ThrowbackThursday: Bad Boy Rap Edition

Now I've already done a #TBT for The Notorious B.I.G. x Ma$e, but it's only right I who respect to the house that shared them to the world.

Bad Boy Entertainment/Records will always hold a few chapters in the history book of Rap music and the Hip hop culture. Classics is a word thrown around at any given chance, some justifiable and some just plain all on board the bandwagon train.

The house the Puff built has given us classic that has stood the test of time, and even now when they drop in a club people just forget their worries and do what Puff always demanded and "just dance".

I mean think about it, the Puff Daddy x Hype Williams collaborations with the videos were two things 1. big budget 2. larger than life.

So i'm gonna dedicate this thursday to just some of the classics Bad Boy has given us in the world of hip hop. As easy as it is to just make it all Biggie (trying my hardest not to), I'm gonna showcase the Bad Boy hits.

P.S. These videos will take you to a place that makes you smile with happy memories!

#ThrowbackThursday: R.I.P. Ol' Dirty Bastard Edition

I believe ODB is the glue of the Wu-Tang Clan, you know the one guy in your crew of friends who can make a bad situation seem like nothing and to just keep it moving. We all know he was the wildest and most charismatic MC not just in the Wu or Rap, but music in general.

It was nine years yesterday that the world of Hip Hop has lost this talented individual, proof that time flies quick. However what guys like ODB have over you and me is, he was an entertainer who gave us some classic material.

That means he will never be forgotten from one generation to the next. Which is the least that can be done for him. Thoughts go out to his family and close ones at this time of the year.

So I salute you King, may you rest in peace!! Check out the some gems below and videos.

#ThrowbackThursday - Busta Rhymes Edition

One of the few remaining MCs from the "Golden Era" of rap, and has helped to propel Hip Hop into another galaxy. Personally I didnt care for any video unless it was a Busta video. Only person who rivaled him at that time was Missy Elliott.

Salute to Busta Rhymes the original party starter and trendsetter still holding shit down. (Still hate on how close he got to Miss Jackson though..................Sorry Bus-a-Bus)

Life & Rhymes "Documentary"

Growing up Busta Rhymes and Andre 3000 were the most flamboyant rappers I listen to
They were the Ric Falir's of hip hop Stage presence and their attire was just on another level.

Busta is one of the founders of the new generation of hip hop
All these years later, still doing his thing. ENJOY
