Music Video: SeeJay100 x Cadet x Ayo Beatz - Day 1'z

My boy SeeJay100 links up with Cadet and Ayo Beatz for Day 1'z taken from the soundtrack for the July 29th cinema release The Intent. This one has the bounce I like in records while still getting the point across lyrically. Go support this one by pre-ordering the movie now on iTunes.

Music Video: Ice Kid x Chip - Where's Ice Kid At

Easily one of the biggest highlights of this year's RedBull Culture Clash for those of us who attended live, was to see the appearance of Grime's lyrical Unicorn (you lost that crown Wiley as you now show up haha) Ice Kid. When he touched down on the stage and people who knew about Ice recognised him on the big screen, the O2 went bonkers.

Thankfully that wasn't a one and done appearance from the kid, and we now have a new video featuring the ying to his yang Chip and also a new 9 track EP Ice Kid-11. You wait for one piece of new music and he bless us with all this, I cannot wait to check the EP out.

#TBT: The Streets ft D Double E x Bruza x Kano x Demon - Get Out Of My House (remix)

I'm a big fan of The Streets and had to take it back with this one. When you look back on it Mike Skinner done alot for the Grime scene which felt natural due to his love for the scene. I said that because they were getting to become a super force in the music scene but did alot of remixes and features with Grime artists. So I'm rocking with this one today Get Out Of My House featuring some of the biggest names all in their own rights of the Grime scene.

Interview: Chuckie Online x JME - Real Talk Chuckie Online

After a brief hiatus #RealTalkWithChuckieOnline makes an epic comeback with the second in depth interview following MOBO Award winner, Stormzy. This time going into conversation with musician, entrepreneur and Boy Better Know CEO, JME.

It's fair to say that any sort of JME conversation is a rare commodity, thus this lengthy and fascinating conversation has been broken down into 2 parts.

Offering a widely alternative prospective to your typical Grime emcee, Jme discusses the following topics in Part 1 of the interview:

- The approach in which he perceives his accomplishments and how he continues to aspire for more

- Not compromising style or personality to fit into the industry

- How to stand out as a new emcee

- Choosing not to go to Jamaica for the video shooting of "Shaky" and his stance when it comes to decisions within BBK

- Choosing not to attend the Brit Awards for the Kanye West performance

Along with his love and passion for music plus wanting more growth in the scene, JME takes the hot seat and really opens up to Chuckie Online. Over the course of the 30 minute conversation it's clear to see that JME is not fuelled by money or power. Instead we witness an individual who has made huge leaps within the industry by remaining true to himself.

KeepinItGrimy x JME - Integrity Documentary

JME is a legend in Grime for many reasons. From his earliest days on Heat FM and De Ja Vu spitting bars with Meridian Crew. Going straight from secondary school to pirate radio and spitting over such riddims as Straight and DTI or his earliest productions such as Meridian Walk remix and Staggering. Through to his breakout single ‘Serious’. Then his vision for the Boy Better Know brand, revolutionising the mixtape and merchandise market in Grime. His creation of the Tropical sound and so much more since. He has always stood by his art. He has innovated, experimented and ultimately succeeded in many different avenues.

He embodies the spirit and ethos of KeepinItGrimy. And that is why for our debut documentary we could have had no more fitting subject than the Boy Better Know CEO.

In this short film we get an insight into the motivations behind JME’s work ethic and practises. We shine a light on his creative process, both musically and visually. And we join him as he embarks on yet another pioneering business venture.

We hope this piece can serve as inspiration and motivation for the next generation of artists who want to defend their musical identity and have a chance to be successful without feeling forced to work with a mainstream music industry that, after more than 10 years, still doesn’t understand how to work with Grime music.

Directed by Ethan Wroth. Filmed by Ethan Wroth and Jack Bushell. Produced by Logan Sama.

JME's forthcoming album 'Integrity' is released May 4th on Boy Better Know records. Pre-order here :https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/int...

Video: Fire In The Booth - Big Narstie Edition

In all honesty after Big Narstie kept it fully 1000 regarding the Tinie Tempah x Chip situation, I was happy if that's how he decided to use his time. But we're still blessed with his fire in the booth. Hello Hi!

Interview: Big Narstie - Tells It Like It Is On Grime

If you have a voice use it, it's good to get as many opinions on the scene as possible. And what is said in this video shows that Big Narstie has come along way in the last 2-3 years. With that said he is still fully aware of "those" days when for example, it seemed the best way to get your music noticed was to have a  hot commercial famous feature. I fully appreciated what Narstie had to say given the platform and what was expected from him. Would love to hear from the likes of JME, Skepta, D Double E just to name a few, oh and of course Dizzee and Wiley.

Just incase you missed why this topic of discussion took place, here is what sparked this response from Big Narstie - Charlie Sloth x Chip.

Video: Charlie Sloth x Chip - Fire In The Booth

2015 is going to be such a great year for the scene, trust me on that. I was worried about whether 2015 would be in any shape to keep up with the year that was 2014. Once again glad Chip has got everything lined up and ready to flood the scene with music.

This reminds me of that special moment when this happened. Twitter has been going ape over this Fire In The Booth when it first aired. Stevie Wonder can see why!

Event: Big Narstie's x Noisey - Grime Karaoke

I love karaoke, I do a wicked version of Luther Vandross "Never Too Much" and a decent version of The Throne's "Otis". Big Narstie and Noisey have joined forces to bring us Grime Karaoke. Co-hosted by my girl Julie Adenuga and Big Narstie this event will be vibes and fun.   Now as karaoke goes it's all about classic or popular songs that people know and have the confidence to perform. So the good folks at Noisey have compiled a list of Grime tracks that are to be considered, and the top five voted will make it for selection on the night.
So head over to their Facebook page to add your vote for what songs make the event and get more information about this unique and hopefully reoccurring event Big Narstie x Noisey Grime Karaoke.

Music: Dizzee Rascal x Wiley - Time For Change

Dizzee recently done a interview with Twin B, shout out to Twin B for being slick and honest to get the question answered. Everyone has had their say on the interview and rightly so. I've only watched this after I saw a response from Wiley, so I can have both sides of the coin.

Gentlemen lets get one thing clear, you two and one or two others provided us with a sound which we all paid attention to and enjoyed it to the fullest. Dizzee Rascal and Wiley don't have to make music together at all, know why? Because it's bigger than that, they NEED to make music together for the sake of the scene and of course THEMSELVES!

Pride has no price and I understand that, and being stubborn is a trait some people openly admit to having and some deny it BUT it's time to make the magic happen. Unless your name is Dizzee or Wiley, you wont know what happened behind the scenes all them years ago that has carried on to this point. Dizzee touches on Wiley not being the first to check for him etc... I get that but there must be more he just didn't want to share which I RESPECT!

However the best rap battle of our generation involving Nas and Jay-Z which was obvious many years before the beef records, got squashed and they have gone on to make music together.

As far as I know there hasn't been anything to that scale happen between these two, so this is what I suggest you guys do. Have a meeting JUST Dylan and Richard NOBODY else and put everything on the table, that includes turning off phones etc.... and have a open and honest conversation.

NOBODY has to know the details of what was said or denied etc... just do that, create a clean slate and move on. Because it's bigger than you two guys, the UK urban scene needs for this to take place.

Many of your supporters of the last two or three years who like the glossy sound you've been providing enjoy your music and if they are supporters and not fans (jumping from one bit of heat to another) don't you think they deserve to know the sound and scene that helped birth the both of you to become the colossal artists you are today?

GRIME call these two guys ASAP!
